Abstract

The article mainly discusses the importance of Chinese punctuation marks in the use of grammar and its impact on sentence structure and meaning expression. First, the development history of Chinese punctuation marks is reviewed.
Secondly, the classification and functions of Chinese punctuation marks are elaborated, pointing out their important role in segmenting sentence components, expressing mood, and connecting parallel components. The relationship between punctuation marks and grammar is further analyzed, as well as common misuse, deletion and abuse problems in practical application.
Finally, strategies for improving the ability to use Chinese punctuation marks are proposed, and future research directions are prospected. This study aims to provide theoretical support for Chinese teaching and language standards through a comprehensive analysis of the functions, usage rules and status of Chinese punctuation marks in modern Chinese grammar, while also providing practical guidance and suggestions for Chinese users. Promote the correct use of Chinese punctuation marks and enhance the expressiveness and influence of Chinese.
