Abstract: This article discusses the important role of writing courses in teaching Chinese as a foreign language in improving students' grammatical abilities and analyzes the advantages of writing courses in grammar teaching, such as providing practical application context and promoting the internalization of grammatical knowledge. At the same time, the article also points out the problems that may be faced when combining grammar teaching with writing training, such as students’ uneven grammar foundation, improper setting of writing tasks, and insufficient teacher feedback. It also proposes corresponding response strategies, including strengthening basic grammar training, reasonable Design tasks, paying attention to feedback, strengthen balanced guidance on grammatical standards and writing innovation, etc. The article emphasizes that the organic integration of grammar teaching and writing training is a long-term and complex process that requires teachers to continuously explore and optimize in practice to promote the improvement and comprehensive development of students' language use abilities.
