汉语动词“吃”的多义性及其阿语对应形式以及其对阿拉伯学生的教学法

Abstract

Acquisition of polysemous words is one of the major difficulties in
teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Because of the richness and the
importance of food culture in Chinese life, this paper chooses the verb "chi"
as the research object to explore its different meanings (including basic
meaning and extended meaning) and its corresponding verbs in Arabic and
its teaching methods to Arab students. First of all, I introduced the basic
meaning of the verb "chi" according to the interpretation of "Modern Chinese
Dictionary (7th Edition)", then analyzed the different extended meanings of
the verb "chi" based on the conceptual metaphor theory, At the same time,
used the corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University to provide
examples, and translated these example sentences into Arabic to illustrate what are the Arabic corresponding verbs for different meanings of the verb
"chi", and finally proposed some teaching methods which is suitable for
different meanings. The purpose of this study is to make Arab students
deeply understand the different meanings of the verb "chi", as well as to
provide assistance to them to be able to use the verb "chi" correctly.
