Abstract

Through this article we want to verify the use that Egyptian postgraduate students of Spanish as a foreign language make of the imperfect tense of the indicative mode in their writing tasks. To this end, we rely on a methodology focused on the analysis of errors, in order to know the main causes that have led them to error and to be able to develop specific guidelines for action at a grammatical level. In our study, we have taken from the group-sample a total of 20 postgraduate students of Egyptian nationality, all with an advanced level in E / LE.
